2010 Beta & Windows 7 N

Some may know that Windows 7 comes with a variant marked 'N' (media player unbundled). Aside from the unbundling, as far as I know, the oporating system is the same in every other way

BUT.....

SharePoint 2010 does not install on Windows 7 <version> N. So even if you install Windows 7 Enterprise N (as I did today) you cannot install SharePoint 2010. As far as I know, there are no work arounds & the issue will be addressed in the RTM

Until then, if you want to run SharePoint 2010, make sure that not only do you install the appropriate version of Windows 7 (e.g. Professional, Ultimate, Enterprise) but do not install the N variant

But I'm utilising Chromium on a machine running version 9.04 of Ubuntu and also the search and sense aren't pretty satisfying. Not a strong deal, I can still essentially read the articles and search for info, but just desired to inform you about that. The navigation bar is form of challenging to use with the config I'm running. Continue to keep up the superb operate!

If I might --perhaps you should consider adding a few images. I dont mean to disrespect what youve said; its very enlightening, indeed. However, I think would respond to it more positively if they could be something tangible to your ideas. Keep it up, but put a little more into it next time
